M.A.C. .32 cal. french long
My cousin has a .32 cal. french long pistol and can't find ammo. I need help finding him some. The gun was made by Military Armament Corp. This gun is a semi-automatic model 11 style. Model 1935-S,Mac A 276, 32 french long. He would also like an extra clip for his gun if he can find ammo.

Skeezix got it right! Hard stuff to come by, and expensive if you can even find it.
Last time I needed some, I found it easier to make it. Using .32 ACP brass and 90 grain 7.62 X 25 bullets. The only problem is that the rim on the 32 ACP brass has to be partially removed, to get it to function in the French pistol.

I've made it for personal use by shaving a bit of the rim of .32 S&W long, but it's time consuming. It is a pretty good cartridge though in the automatic. 0 -

Buffalo Arms sells it, now listed as "low stock" so they probably have a little. It is expensive, largely because they have to make the brass, probably by turning the rim off of .32 S&W Long or maybe by swaging down .30 Carbine head diameter.

If you gave me one, I would look into widening the breechface and putting in a chamber bushing for .32 ACP.

It's a locked breech mechanism. When I did my first reloads using 32 ACP brass. It wouldn't function with the 32 ACP loads in my reloading book, ( even using the heavier 7.62 X 25 bullets ). I had to boost the powder charge approximately 25% to get reliable function. Because of this I doubt it will function with 32 ACP, even with your mods.0 -
