    It sounds like you will be able to own it, just have to register it with State Police, Get a rectal exam every 5 years and they say it will cost nothing.

    Your best bet is to call the dealer you bought it from and the State police. Until this law is deemed unconstitutional by the courts you have to abide by it. It is not worth the consequences to fight it on your own unless you're a multi-millionaire. If so, please get your friends and fight this new law.

    There's a lot of reading in that law, and I'm not going through the whole 73 pages again, but I don't think it affects bolt action rifles. There's wording in one section about the exception of bolt, lever, pump actions.

    I'm not sure about the 10 round mag on a bolt. Google NYS Troopers and they have a list of banned guns on their website.

    It effects all Semi automatic, pump, bolt, and lever actions. If you have a Savage 17 HMR with a thumbhole stock, it is now an assault rifle.

    Cuomo should be impeached, and he shouldn't be allowed to use state funds for legal representation!
