NY proposed gun laws
It looks like NY is trying to block the sale of all pre ban Ar type guns and magazines. If I read it right any rifle with a pistol grip and a magazine will be banned. If it has any 1 feature of an assault weapon it will be banned from sale. Mags will be limited to 7 rounds.

You cant buy 7rd mags for most guns made today, they just dont make them. That will get the bill overturned.0 -
Bet the law was written to state "capable of accepting" a higher capacity magazine. Unless the weapon could be made to make the magazine a permanent fixture, the gun would still be capable of accepting and therefore would be illegal ..... wouldn't it?
