shipping question
Can I with a C&R licence ship a C&R Hand Gun to an other C&R licence holder in an other state? I got a no from the ATF office in Philadelphia and a yes from another agent several days later.

Need a little help here.I sold a rifle that qualifies as a C&R relic. The buyer wants me to ship it to his work address since he is not usually home to sign for it. Question, can i ship to his work address even though the address on his license is different? I don't want to violate any rules.thanks in advance. Dave 0 -

Since it seems like a dual fault mistake, I would agree to pay half of the shipping. Let it be a lesson, to always verify the address.

I always confirm by e-mail the buyer's shipping address because a lot of people forget to update their address on GB.
He's obligated to pay for reshipping as it was his fault but, if he's a good buyer and you made a fair profit, I would split the cost with him.0 -

I contacted my local Post Office today and told them what had happened. They informed me that if the package is unopened, they will reship it to the right address and not charge anything more. I think that is more than fair for the USPS to do that. 0 -
Some folks who use the auctions have severe cognitive problems, no getting away from it.
Years ago when I was still doing the auctions, I would send my then current address in the first email acknowledging their wining. I can't tell you how many times they would send the funds to the listed address on the auction, rather then the specific address I gave them in my email. When I inquired why, many denied knowledge of my initial email.0 -

Traveling, I didn't see any sense revising my address every time I moved. To most folks it wasn't a issue. Since I gave them a heads up on my current address, when they won my auction(s).
What got me was the DS's that didn't respond in any way, to my initial email. Just sent the funds to the address listed on the site, then denied receiving my email. Just a bunch of dim freaking bulbs on the highway of life.0
