Rifle stock duplication

Who will do a good job of duplication of a stock? This is for a remington 700 SA.Thanks

Do you want the factory stock or a custom stock duplicated? Either way the pattern stock is usualy not usable when done.

custom stock. I could alter a factory and make it work.

I have to disagree with cbyerly on the condition of the returned pattern stock. I have had a stock duplicated. The stock that I had duplicated was a factory stock that is no longer available. It came back in perfect shape. The copies were a little rough, my gunsmith said they looked almost as rough as a stump; but a good stockmaker can turn a stump into a work of beauty. And he did!

Bare in mind, stocks cut on a duplicator aren't going to be anywhere as smooth as ones turned on CNC machines.

Ask for Jim Sr. - they have several custom designs to fit many standard models, totally custom to your requirements, and have a duplicating machine.

Not cheap, but very good.
