.338 MXLR question
Was wondering if anyone else on this board might own one and experiencing the same quirk as I am. Intermittent problem with ejection of spent case is my issue, almost like the cartridge is having to cool and shrink before I can cycle the next round in. Sounds crazy but I have tried different lots of ammo and still has same effect. Maybe this is why it has been discontinued.Thought I might ask before calling Marlin, don't get me wrong, I really enjoy hunting with it, just might make a follow-up shot a little slow. Any ideas?

Try asking the same question on the marlin owners forum. There is a forum for the 308/338 MX. You might have some luck there.
