Baked on finishes
I have a couple of SXS's that have some minor pitting on the exterior of the barrels towards the muzzle, Not structuraly damaging, but unsightly and deeper than I care to remove.. Is there a product available that I can apply, sand and reapply to fill the pitts and finish the barrels smooth. If the finish requires baking, what type of oven's are being used. 28" barrels won't fit in an average kitchen oven. Thanks.

I have used lauer's dura-fill. had pretty good luck with the durability of these products. follow directions for filler product then use regular dura-coat. Not an oven dry product for hurry-up, but I always have something else to do while it cures. 0 -
Why not Hydro Dip them?
There are over 125 colors to chose from.
A lot of New Gun Factorys are using it, Ok on Wood, Metal or Fabric.0
