    Thanks retro...interesting concept.

    Using Obamacare as the precedent is unique and has grounds if this ever gets off the ground.

    The Federal Government requires that vehicles be equipped with seat belts for saving life and limb in accidents, so the precedent exists for requiring that vehicles be equipped with pistols for saving life and limb in car-jackings.

    And as with seat belts, the local police could fine anyone for operating without a pistol. [:p]

    If not, why not?

    IT's still just a bill. Not been voted on... Probably will die a slow meaningless death.
