Does anyone know what the JW 32-40 rifle and 45 colt pistol commeratives actually cost new back in 1981-82? Thanks

I assume you are talking Winchester Model 94's. There were four issues of them in 1981. No calibers given.

Special edition guns are a way to have a special way of losing money.
YOU CANT SHOOT them so you are much better off buying GOLD coins. YMMV

Sometimes you can buy a commerative saa 2nd generation ( and shoot it) cheaper than a regular plain 2nd. generation.
