    It is to hard o say, without having better pictures of the actual engraving, and inlay itself. That is an Old Model Super BlackHawk, and I am not sure there were a whole lot of doll up houses around at that time. But we need better pictures for sure.

    I don't think that is "silver inlay," it looks more like engraving cut through the blue and bare steel left exposed, hopefully with some sort of protective coating.
    The plastic "pearl" grips don't add much.

    Not like any factory embellishment I have seen.

    Correct. Not inlay, just bare steel. It's not factory.

    you are correct. i looked at the gun today and it kinda looked like crap. the engravings had what looked to be resin of some kind over it. his asking price was $1250 with no box and papers. i offered $300 and he came down to $1000. I bought a scope mount for $7 and left. oh well. and grips were plastic with a crack in one side.
