Polytech M14 gas plug

I purchased Polytech M14 and discovered that gas plug is stuck. Any tips on how to loosen plug?
I was thinking to try with torch but not sure if heat can damage something. Any advice is appreciated.

  First soak the thing with krol oil for a day......get a proper barrel wrench ,I doubt you need heat. and use no seize on the threads before you replace it.
