Bayonet info
Where can I find pictures and info to ID a bayonet I have had for a long time.
I am not interested in selling it, just want to know the age and what guns it fits.
Markings on the blade say 1907, 11 '17 and Wilkinson and on the other side it has lots of different stamped marks.

My guess is WWI Enfield. Anyone tell me what it is and what it fits? Any history?

Thanks Spider! that was rather simple. So I have Pattern 1907 Sword bayonet for use with the .303 caliber Short, Magazine, Lee-Enfield No. I Mk. III (SMLE) rifle. The scabbard is a No. I Mk. II scabbard with the teardrop frog stud.
I imagine this is a fairly common bayonet and not worth much but it sure is in very nice condition.
What got me thinking about this was a movie we watched last night, "War Horse". In one scene they were in the trenches and got the order to affix bayonets and they sure did look just like the one I have.0 -
