Special weapons are pretty crappy I had one. Vulcan is worse. Google Todd bailey. He is the guy responsible for most of that crap. Mine was defective for 2 reasons and he wanted to argue about the canted site base and the ftes. He changes names like shoes to hide from his reputation. Biggest tool in firearms

well, i googled him and wow....doesnt appear to be a nice thing to be said for the guy, and his 9 different companies that make hk clones are getting a lot of negative press. i will try to avoid his stuff if possible. thanks for the heads up. 0 -
One quick test for quality on an H&K clone MP-5 is to shake the bolt carrier next to your ear. It should sound like its full of sand or BB's as the real ones were filled with tungsten granules for a "dead-hammer" effect. The poor ones use lead or just solid steel instead.

cool thanks for tip 0 -
I build some beautiful ones.
Want no problems? Bite the bullet and buy a demilled GERMAN MP5 kit from somewhere...anywhere (EXCEPT HKparts.net) because you will pay a premium there.
An associate paid multiple THOUSANDS for a Sig rifle kit and the furniture looked like it got chewed on by a plastic eating rodent. Adam Webber (owner HKparts.net) didn't give a damn and told him "Too bad".
We build some gorgeous sear-ready pistols and SBRs for around 4K total.0 -
I have 2 Coharies and a Bobcat.
I am the exception I guess.
Mine run perfectly semi or full auto with sears.
