AR-15 pre ban or post ban.

During the ban it was illegal to put a pre-ban upper on a post-ban lower. Now that that the ban is gone (for the moment)can you mix and match?

  On a Federal level the answer is yes but the expiration of the Crime Bill in 2004 did not impact bans that were in place in several areas and states. In those states it would still be prohibited.
