Question about Broken shell extractors
I want to purchase a broken shell extractor for my 308 semi-auto FAL rifle. What kind are the best, the ones with a lever or the one's without?
Also, I have seen them advertised for 30 caliber, insinuating that they are interchangable for 308 and 30-06. Then I have seen them advertised specifically for 30-06 or 308.
Thanks in advance.

and have a short section of proper size brass rod to drop down the bore for ones with rim torn off but head more or less intact.0 -
I just recently purchased a gov't surplus one right here on GB auction off of this fella: BKHOSE 0 -
I've got a couple like the one Charlie linked, in 8mm for my Hakim and 7.62x54 for my SVT-40. They work slick, just chamber it like a loaded round, and extract.
Stuck cases and ripped off rims are usually from a dirty/rough chamber and/or a gas system that needs cleaning or adjusting. Burnish the chamber, keep the chamber flutes and gas system clean, and that usually stops.0
