    I carry a back pack for small stuff like ammo and cleaning supplies. I often keep a case or BoreStore in the truck. If I am out of state I usually have a hard case in the truck that will hold three rifles.

    And, not related to the issue of walking around with a firearm at the show but is gun show etiquette:

    Please ask before picking a firearm up off a table. It's poor manners to grab a gun off a table, spin the cylinder like a drug store cowboy, wipe the perspiration off your hands all over an ivory handle and then clunk a (formerly) pristine blued barrel back down on top of another gun.

    I've had it happen. I've never had someone say "no" when I ask to look closer at a firearm though, the fact that you ask permission generally tells the seller that you respect his wares. Even when it's priced twice what it's worth.

    Etiquette.
