Setting up the Forster trimmer in a drill press
It seems I'm not doing this correctly!
All my brass comes up short. I'm trying to trim over 1000 cases and need the fastest way.
I know there is an adjustment set screw, but when I think I have it close, some cases trim way past spec.
Is there a .pdf available with instructions?\I just have the small black trimming tool in my drill press. It's the $20 trimmer. it indexes off the .223 case shoulder.
Thanks!

I am not familiar with one that uses the shoulder. I have two of the regular ones. One is adapted for a cordless drill motor.

added you should try using the depth control adjustment on drill press.0 -
With the force available using the drill press, you may be pushing the shoulder back. Better check that as excessive headspace is a much worse condition than a case trimmed too short. 0 -

I bet he has a Lee trimmer chucked up in his drill press . If that's the case you need to use the shellholder for it also , because tht's your stop ! Any Forster trimmer I've ever seen was a benchtop model . 0 -
I've seen trimmers that located off the shoulder but don't remember what brand. 0
