Colt New Service Grip size/ replacement

I have a nice New Service in .45 Colt I like to shoot, but feel the original grips might nut take the strain.
What size should I look for in Pachmayr's? Python?

  Dixie Gunworks sells replica New Service Grips. I have a 1917 Colt and a 45 Colt New Service. I have their grips on both. Python grips don't fit a New Service.

  Pachmayr New Service rubber grips are marked "Colt Army Large Grip" moulded into the interior and the letters K 2 into the base of the interior.
  The lanyard ring has to be removed to use them.
