I posted this in GD but nobody over there seems to own one[:0]
My question,is it difficult to swap out the spur hammer for a ring hammer on these?

  The devil is in the details, (fine print), like everything else.. Are the parts OEM from Browning, or aftermarket? Sometimes the safety has to be tweaked, to work with a replacement hammer. Do you have the proper tools. Are you experienced with working on firearms. etc.etc. You get the picture.
  
  Many years ago I installed one of the late Austin Behlert's hammer and innards in a HP, with only minor fitting required.

  Are you switching hammers for function or asthetics?
  
  If you are experiencing hammer bite, you can bob off about 1/8" of the spur with a dremmel. A little polishing, cold blue and done, no more hammer bite.

  Don't remember a problem.
  Always check safety function when playing with triggers, hammers and sears.
  Cock pistol, put safety on, pull trigger hard, release trigger then release safety. Hammer shouldn't fall.
  The spur hammer is a mistake and the ring hammer the proper fix.
