Griffon 1911
Good Morning and I hope all had a great Christmas day. I am trying o find out more info on my Griffon 1911 .45 acp. Ive had it awhile. but, try as I might, there is little to no info on the net. i know they werent opened for very long, as i find a website, but apparently has not been used in many a year.
Does anyone have any info they could share with me on this pistol, and perhaps what it's worth? Thank You very much

It's a very uncommon 1911 clone the was made in the RSA, then imported and sold in the States for a short period of time.
Most folks wouldn't know a Griffon from a pimple on their butt. You are going to have to put it on the auction and advertise it, in hopes individual(s) who collects 1911 clones see it and just have to have it.0 -
I had a Griffon .45 many years ago. It came with all the fancy "race" options. It ate everything I loaded it with. Shot decent too. Don't sell it if you don't have to, it's a good piece that uses factory colt parts. It just doesn't have the "mystique" of being a "Colt", so many look down on it. 0
