Well, that is a Winchester "Model 70 Classic", action, and was made before the end of 2006. The production was then, still at the New Haven, CT plant.
It has the "Mauser Claw type" extractor, for more positive extraction, and controlled round feeding. Some folks call it the Pre-64 type action, as the post-63 actions were push feed, like the Remington 700's.
Since thier sister division Browning has some octagon barreled models of the A-Bolt, I would think that the barrel might be made by Miroku.
The stock, if it is natural, and not enhanced, is "XXX FANCY" walnut, and percieves to be near the top of that grade. You have a nice rifle, for sure, that could most likely benifit from having pillars installed in the stock, for mating the action, to the bottom metal, and further enhancing the accuracy.
With the short serial number, that rifle(or at least the action), could be from as far back as the early 90's.
Since Winchester did not ue Nickel on any of their bolt actions that late in the game, your rifle is definately stainless steel, and most likely the 416 grade, or something close to it.

EDIT 1
It will sell for a lot less than what the seller is asking. It is basically Winchester's Model 70 Classic version, of Browning's A-Bolt II, "White Gold Medallion". They run around $1100.00 dealer cost, and $1300.00-1400.00 retail.

No, I meant POST 63, as any thing made after 1963, would be post 63. Anything made before, and including, December 31st, 1963, would be PRE 64.
The rifle in the auction is Post 63, as the serial number starts with a "G" prefix. It has the features of the Pre 64 action, that is why I said, Pre 64 TYPE action.
