Browning superposed round to flat knob

Does anyone know when the Superposed switched from the round knob to the flat bottom pistol grip? thanks Don

  Someone may have a more precise answer but I believe the change was made in the late 60s. Early 70s guns I ordered from the factory came with the "flat" grip.
