Buffalo Bore Bullet Question

Most likely Barnes. They use a lot of Barnes bullets in their jacketed lineup. 5mmgunguy it seems like you are on a quest lately to find the perfect .380 round. I also carry a .380(Ruger LCP) and you really can't go wrong with Buffalo Bore...if you are using an LCP just keep in mind the manual states against using +p but Buffalo Bore has plenty of non +p.) I use Hornady Critical Defense in mine and it has PLENTY of penetration. With these short barrels you will not get big expansion. The #1 thing you need from ammo out of these little guns is reliable feeding. If you want more info on the Buffalo Bore you can talk to them directly on facebook if you do that. They also have a wealth of info on their website. I do use their ammo and it's all good stuff.

Thanks Ruger41. I have a Kahr P380. Kahr says it will take +P but not +P+.

Gotcha. I have used Buffalo Bore .38 Special out of a snubby. Felt like full house .357 Mags. Bet Tim's +p .380 is pretty stout. Don't forget to look at his 100 grain hard cast lead +p .380 load. It gives over 1100fps and 20" of penetration. That would be a good load if it functioned especially in winter with a bad guy wearing heavy clothing.
