.308 barrel ident.
I purchased a .308 low profile fluted barrel in 1 to 10 twist. It has no identifing make as to manufacture. How do I find out the manufacture.[:(]

Unless it is a very distinctive fluting pattern for some brand name, there is not much chance of identifying an unmarked loose barrel.
You could go by the shank and threads and tell what action it was made for, but that is no guarantee that it was a factory original for that action.0
