AR-15 is Double Feeding ?? NEED HELP
I just built a new AR (All brand new parts) with an Adams Arms gas piston upper. It does not cycle correct. It jams sometimes with two live rounds in the chamber.
I know it is an upper problem because I switched uppers and the lower works perfect with another upper.
It is an A2 style with correct spring and buffer.
Any suggestions ?

Seems like a mag alignment with part of the bolt/carrier group that strips the round out. Try pressure on the mag sideways each direction if there is any play to work with.0 -
What mags are you using? Possibly a magazine problem. Since it can't fit "two live rounds in the chamber", I'll assume the rounds are nose to tail with one chambered and one in front of the bolt. If the rounds are basically side by side, the bolt is stripping both which would indicate the feed lips are way too wide. 0 -
Thank you for the tips. I will try to mess with it this week and let you know if it works. 0
