probably not , it's nicer I suspect there is no DU model with the 687 nomenclature but quality wise it seems to be at least eell. 0 -
I dont think so EELL are hand engraved. This is clearly done by a machine.

It is a special scroll engraved gun for DU. All hand engraved EELLs
are signed by the engraver beside the trigger guard. Here's a pic of mine.

The man who created this image did it in paint and it was reproduced by machine on this gun. It's only a signature if the artist placed it there. In this case the machine did it. Davis Maass works with paint. He is not an engraver. Here is a link to his work. http://www.collectorscovey.com/jacom.html Also its only an EELL if it clearly says EELL

I should have been more specific. The engraver's signature will be engraved on the bottom of the receiver beside the guard, directly accross will be the model # stamped into the receiver.
