COLT M4 AR-15 LE6920
I just got my hands on a new one of these today.
Could anyone that owns this rifle give me their opinion on if I got a good deal for $1,097, and their opinion if this is a good all round rifle?
It came with (2)20 round mags, and was thinking about buying a few 30 round also. Any suggestions on what 30 round mag brand to buy?

Considering everything that's going on political wise and trending what it is - you got a very nice deal. That's pretty close to what I paid for mine 2 years ago NIB - In my humble opinion, you did just fine.
If you want rugged mags, try the Magpul pmags, they seem to be good, tough mags.

A Colt for that much?? You got a smoking deal. While it will do 80% of the things that can be done with an AR-15, it is not DCM match material, nor would it be like a well built precision accuracy, free floating bull barrel, but t will work for most things.

Buy any hi-cap mag you can get your hands on, now is not the time to be fussy. You got a OK deal on the Colt, all things considered,(see the above). 0 -

Standard Wally World price before they pulled them off their shelves a few days ago. You got it for a nice price.
Magpul's are nice, but any GI contract magazine is actually very good.0 -

Thats a fine rifle at a steal these days
any new 6920 will bring 2k on the auction side
Any bulk .223 or 5.56 from 55gr to 77gr will be fine
I just ordered my first rounds of steel cased due to price. I used to stick to PMC bronze

I paid almost that much for my Colt HBar Target years ago...in today's world you got a super deal IMO. And it is a Colt....and you better hurry up and get as many extended mags as you can afford in this crazy world! Good buy[:D] 0
