100 round box of 45acp
I purchased a 100 round box of Winchester (white box) 2-3 years ago, just noticed that they have corrision on the side where a black cardboard seperates the rows. Feels and looks like rust on the brass shells, has anyone else noticed this in a 100 round box?

probably acid from the paper. Never seen it on shells that new though 0 -
Even my 50 year old ammo never did that. I suspect that one of USRA's suppliers sold them bad cardboard stock. Too late to complain, they are out of business.
I would not fire corroded ammo, my face is too pretty.

I have a greasegun that'll eat it all up. 0 -
Carry some loose in pocket for a few days, they will polish nicely.
Don't leave them in that box, or use a penatrant like WD-40.
M3 would likely eat them as is.0
