m60 GPMG bipod adapter? answered.
Anyone ever seen one like this? Any idea what this fits? M14 maybe? Military or homemade? There are no markings on it that i can find. Any value to speak of? Thanks for the help.
Neighbor came by with a polytec m14s. I think I answered my own question. Thanks for the responses.

Never seen a mount like that, I have one that clips to the bayo lug. That one resembles the M2 bipod mount for the M1A/M14. Looks like it may clamp on to any barrel or gas tube it will fit though. I would bet it is home made, don't think DoD ever contracted mounts like that.
M60 bipods are selling in the $200 range in excellent condition,, yours is probably in that ballpark. Your bipod is an E2 style with the stamped yoke, slightly less desireable than the original forged yoke.
Nice find either way. I'd say about $200 for your setup.0 -

I've got an interesting looking one made from an M16 bayonet with the blade cut off and the handles removed. 0
