Rossi single shot 243 eject?

i just bought a rossi 243... should it eject the shell out when i open it or do i have to manualy grab it and remove.

  The ones I've handled did not eject.

  Hardly any of the bargain priced single shots, will eject the cartridge case. Those that do, will eject both, the empty case, and live round. I do not believe your's ejects at all. This is from the description on the Rossiusa website...
