Interarms X Bolt Rifles
Can someone tell me if these were built up from surplus Mauser actions and barrel or were they assembled from a new Mauser type receiver.

Which was imported by Charles Daly, then Remington, and now Century. They have a 762x39 version cataloged that I kinda want. 0 -

FYI The minimauser is not a true Mauser design. It uses a different extractor design somewhat like a Sako or M16. The 7.62x39 I have feeds very rough which I feel is directly related to the extractor.
I bought several of the Chas Daly/Zastava receivers that I have rebuilt with 98 Mauser parts. Most are drop in but occasionally you'll hit a hand fit spot.0 -

These Rifles were TRUE Mausers...Licensed by Mauser in Germany. There was a time when some of these were purchased just for the actions and barrels (The stocks were not the finest quality)...and then they were put into custom stocks which made them very appealing. Actually, the bluing on these rifles was quite nice as well. Triger's generally were replaced with Timney's or like. 0 -
I built a .223 AI with one of these actions and its far and away the most accurate rifle that I own. However (as mentioned) the factory trigger does leave alot to be desired. The Timney I replaced it with works well. 0 -
I believe they were some made in England also,,any of them are superb actions-having had several- 0 -

None were ever made in England. The British were simply distributors of the Yugoslavian rifles.
