Scoping a High Standard Victor ??

On a High Standard Victor with vent rib can a scope or red dot sight be mounted with .22 rings or does it have to be drilled & tapped? Thanks! Harry

  There are Weaver rails that replaces the vent rail on the Victor. Here is an example of one of many.

  Some creative Dremel work might allow the use of a barrel clamp type mount. Dremel on the clamp not the pistol. I have both lasers and flashlights mounted to Ruger 22 pistols using these and they hold OK as long as you don't rough handle the unit. Used one to mount a laser on Grandson's BB gun last year.
