Can anyone tell me how to contact Chaparral arms in Italy? I recently purchased a replica 1866 Winchester and I have a problem with a part not up to quality standards but no amount of searching on the internet can I find an e-mail address or a postal address.I even called the wholesaler and they couldn't help me.Are they out of business? Any help is appreciated

OOPs I didn't proof read my question,I meant Chaparral Arms. 0 -
A quick google does not bring up any site for Chapparal, but does bring up a lot of folks in your position. It appears quality was lacking, and you may be stuck. 0 -
I don't think Chaparral is the actual manufacturer. Look on the bottom for a proofmark. If you see an octagon with a "U" in the center, it's a Uberti. 0 -
Spider No "U" on rifle, the catalog from CDNN says these are the last ones, maybe a good thing that they may be out of business. While I really like the style of the old 1866 Winchester I don't think it was worth 600.00. The hammer spring is I think too weak and doesn't always hit the primer hard enough to fire the cartridge and they are pistol primers.I doubt if they would fire the harder rifle primers. 0
