Thoughts on a good Colt "snake" revolver?
For someone looking to start collecting modern Colt revolvers from the various "snake" series, what are some thoughts on the "best" ones to get. Pythons appear to be the top of the heap, but are King Cobras or Anacondas or Boas "just as good"? What variations are the most abundant in supply to try to find the best bargain?

Don't forget the Diamondback models.

I'm not a snake collector, but I always have my eyes open for a Viper.. Very limited production ( only offered 1, maybe 2 years, I think).. 0 -
I would go looking for the Anaconda's, and the Diamondbacks. If you are persistant enough, you might also find a good Python at a bargain. Those seem to be the top three that are escalating in price.

Python prices have gone nuts over the last couple of years and I would imagine they would continue to grow. I would start there, getting as much gun as I could afford. Then Anaconda and keep an eye out for the Diamondback also. I have all three and would rank them in that order. But know that they are pricey and you must have a good eye...but buys are out there for the ones who hunt hard. Good luck!![:)] 0 -
The other posters are right^^^^
But do not leave out the KING COBRA.
Going to climb up in price ,the other one's are leaving people out of the market cause of high prices.[;)]These are still resonable[:0]0 -
You won't go wrong with any of the above, but I really believe the Diamondback to better investment than the Anaconda. 0
