O/U swapping buttstocks
I have a stunning Ruger o/u with 100%you custom engraving. The wood is plain. Yesterday I won a ruger o/u with stunning wood. My plan is to swap buttstocks and maybe forends. What are the chances this just wont go well at all?
Thanks
Thanks

Well, if they're the same exact model or in the same series, chances are good this will be a relatively easy swap.
If its easy to swap, it should also be easy to swap BACK if you don't like the result.
IIWY, I wouldn't start inletting wood and such, though.0 -

Same model same gauge Ruger red label 20 ga0 -
My current engraved 28 ga red label now has an English grip stock from another gun. No problem at all. 0
