Is the Remington 380 ACP 102 gr Golden Saber a bonded core bullet?

  I can't speak for the ones they make now, but the older one weren't. I use to load them extensively, with very hot loads, in 9mm & 9 x 23. Testing them by shooting them into quart gatorade bottles full of water. At 50 feet they would violently destroy the bottles with two distinct exit points. The lead core would penetrate straight through, while the brass jacket would separate at approximately 30 degrees to the left and 30 degrees up from the axis of the bullet.
  
  Lot of folks dis bullets that don't have bonded cores. I was quite impressed with the results the Remington 102 grain bullets gave at high velocity. Probably at 380 velocities it wouldn't be nearly as effective for personal protection.
  
  
  EDIT #1, Have to dig through my old data cards to see if I cronnoed those loads. I will get back to you, one way or another.
  
  
  EDIT #2, Dug up some of my 102 grain Golden Sabre loads from 1997. These are 9mm loads fired in a Glock G 17 and a Browning target High Power, with a 6" barrel.
  
  Hottest from the Browning averaged 1419 FPS for 10 shots using HS6 powder.
  
  Second fastest also from the Browning was 1301 for 10, using 7625 powder.
  
  Slowest was 1227 for 10, from the Glock also using 7625. The above 7625 loads fired in the Glock and Browning were the same. The longer barrel on the Browning increased the velocity by about 70 FPS.
