Mossberg 640 T

I found a Mossberg model 640T. It seems to be a good little shooter, but I cant find an information on the gun as far as history goes. Does anybody out there know the manufacturing dates and will parts interchange with other 640 models, and I assuming the "T" means target is that correct?
Any input would be helpful

  I dug out my copy of the history of the Mossbergs by the Havlin's.
  
  According to them the various 640 .22 mag rifles were made between the late 50's and the mid 80's. The "T", economy model was only made for one year in 1976.
