Nepalese issue Martini Rifle
Without posting pictures. I can't figure it out. How much is a Nepalese issue Westley Richards Martini Rifle worth. Condition is good to very good, scratches and dents everywhere. The serial numbers is written in Nepalese on top of the receiver. It has the sling swivel and all part are there. The gun appears functional and in firing condition. I looked it up and found they are scarce and only a few thousand were made. Thanks for the help

A U.S. company went over to Nepal a number of years ago and purchased the contents of their military arsenal(s). I recall seeing the gun magazine writeups on all the antique guns they bought, going back 125 years, at least.
I imagine a lot of the doggy guns are still available, with the good ones being in collections at this point in time. You might start GOOGLEing using "Nepalese Gahendra Martini's" as a search term to get a ball park value on yours.0 -

I may have been mistaken? I interpreted the OP's post as inquiring about a Gahendra Martini actually made in Nepal. This photo I got off the net shows both the Gahendra and British made MH's. The Gahendra is the top one.

I definetly have the Gahendra model the one on the top photo as seen above. It also has the Nepal engravings on the reciever which is indicative of the gahendra model. 0 -

A year or two ago I ran across one of these in a local pawn shop. The owner thought he had a real jewel and was holding out for $600 and had just turned down an offer for $300. The Sportsman's Guide ad was still running and I showed it to the owner. He called the guy back with the $300 offer right away.0 -
