Cimarron Model P SAA replica question
Just picked up a Cimarron model P revolver with the charcoal blued finish. I noticed as soon as I cocked the hammer one time, a slight ring appeared on the cylinder. I removed the cylinder and felt the bolt stop and it feels like a knife edge on both sides. If I take that out and polish it smooth, will that decrease the amount of cylinder line wear I get on the revolver?

Yup. And you might take a looksy on the hammer, too. The frame might have burrs that'll scratch the crap out of the sides of the hammer. Oh that reminds me same goes for the trigger.
Did you get the ones with the Saphire Blue screws? The finish on them are real thin.0 -

The screws are regular blue, the cylinder and barrel have that bright blue charcoal finish. Is it difficult to remove the bolt stop from the frame?0 -

Very easy. Just be sure to have the right screwdrivers.
