I checked the gun and it appears to be clean and the parts seem to move properly. It's a little over my head how the parts are supposed to operate. all I can see is that sometimes the next shell stays in the magazine instead of dropping into the loading port. I was hopping someone else had experienced the same problem.

Try some other brand of shells. Rack the action like you mean it, slow and gentel is not good.

Look at parts 42 and 43. Could need adjusted if it never worked correctly, might be gunked up on the backside.

Bubba do any work on it?

Stuck follower??? Did you take the magazine tube off and clean the inside?

When you do this check the conditon of the magazine spring. I have seen them gummed up and rusty.

I had similar problems with a J.C.Higgins pump. I had bent the cartridge stop bar a little to catch the edge of the shells in the magazine tube. sometimes it would feed a shell only if you racked it hard enough.

i disassembled the gun, punching out the pins that hold the trigger assembly in and removed the cartridge stop bar and bent to be perfectly flat, reinstalled everything and the shotgun works fine now.

in the gunparts diagram of your gun,(charliemeyer007 post) it's parts 42 and 43, that are your problem. either their worn or bent or have dirt so they are not functioning correctly.

    just my .02 cents
