1902 .38 acp colt
I recently received this old colt on a trade. It is missing a few parts and need help to find them. Anyone got some good ideas? Also the serial #numbers had been scratched out but is ledgable because it wasnt taken all the way out. Was told it waa bought at a police auction in Chicago in the late twenties or early thirties. Did they really have police auction guns back then? I just wanting the few parts it needs to be functional again.

Look close and make sure that the numbers are below and not on top of the defacing.

If you get that pistol up and running be sure you use only .38 ACP loads in it. The .38 Super is dimensionally identical, but runs at much higher pressure. 0 -
Thanks. I looked and they do have a few parts that i need. 0 -
Looks as if acid was used to bring up the #s on the frame. # on slide is the same. Is this gun illegal like that? 0
