WHY ISN'T THE 22 MAGNUM USED FOR SEMI AUTO HANDGUNS? IT'S BALLISTICS ARE BETTER THAN A 32, COMPARAREABLE TO THE "NEW" 32 MAG, BETTER THAN 380'S AND FAR BETTER THAN 22'S AND I NEDEDN'T EVEN COMMENT ON A 25.?
I DON'T GET IT. It would seem that the only problem would be over penetration which could easily be solved by bullet type. What am I missing?

The RUGER 10/22 MAGNUM is a tact driver, and has a 9-shot Magazine.

Why do you want a tube feed?
As Joe has said, the Ruger 77/22 WRM is a real tack driver. I have had mine since they first came out 30+ years ago, don't have a bad word to say about it.

I had a Marlin 22 mag tube magaZine(model 785?)that absolutely would NOT feed HP ammo. In addition, it was coyote accurate only to 125 yards. Beyond that range, even a perfectly aimed shot was a 50/50 proposition. Traded it for a H&R auto that wasn't any more accurate but at least fed from the magazine(so you could miss faster). 0 -

I really like my Remington 597 HB in 22 Magnum. Extremely accurate for a factory barreled rifle. Did add a Volquartsen hammer assembly. 0 -
Not a tube feed,but I consider "THE BEST" 22 magmum autoloader the HK 300. It's awesome, but with HK scope base and rings, it's a $1,200-$1,500 used gun. I don't shoot mine much as it has been discontinued for years, and parts are scarce. I'd recommend an older Marlin bolt action for around $250 in used but excellent condition. They are a lot of gun for the money. 0 -
I can't think of any tube fed semi auto 22 Magnums, but Magnum Research makes one that uses Ruger 10 round magazines and of course there are +20 rounders out there. Ruger 10/22s can still be found in 22 WMR.
CZ makes excellent bolt action 22 WMR bolt rifles but again, box magazine fed. I don't recall if the old H & R 700 came with a tube magazine. The old CZ 512 semi in 22 WMR is a classy as heck rifle, their current 513 is supposed to be very good too.
Sorry, but the only tube fed 22 WMRs I can think of are lever action - the Henrys, the Winchester 9422 and the old Marlin 57.0 -
Marlin 983 is a current production tube fed .22 magnum bolt action rifle.

Incidentally, I'm also a tube-mag fan.
You typically get much higher capacity than a clip, and its harder to lose/misplace the plunger thingie than feeds the rounds.0 -
If it has to be tube fed, then the Marlin 983 is for you. Put a good scope on it, and it will do amazing things for you. Marlin also made/makes a tube fed semi-auto.
