How come the receivers on these guns are always siver and worn completely and the barrels are very nice yet. I see alot like this. Different bluing method on the reveiver?

  In answer to your question, No.
  
  What you have observed is just a simple fact of the matter for which part of the rifle is used as the common carry point.
  
  How many times have you seen someone walking the woods carrying their rifle by the barrel?
  
  How many times have you seen someone carrying said rifle with a sweaty hand wrapped around the receiver?
  
  When you pick up the rifle, how do you carry it?
  
  This same loss of bluing occurs and is seen on most of the lever-action models as well.

  I rarely carry a gun by any metal portion, but only too prevent finish loss.
