Colt Detective Grips
I have a 1975 mfg. detective and am somewhat confused about original grips. I'd like to put "Original" grips on and am wondering if the rounded or square were the original ?? Thanks

Bought one with "rubber" grips, no insigna. 1975 mfg. according to serial# M13---. Were these factory grips? Thanks 0 -
It was the 3rd version DS, with the shrouded ejector rod. Here's a photo of one off the net. I have also seen them with Pachmayr's, which I believe they transitioned to later in the production cycle.

They are square grips, with generously radius edges for comfort...
Round grips were not standard on the "Generation 4" revolver issue that you have (made in 1975)
