Why is it that so many aftermarket hi-cap mags for many guns are complete junk. I hear everybody say that for reliability, you should stay with factory mags. Is there some secret to making magazines that only the major companies know?

Check the magazine lips with a dial caliper. The 9mm cartridge is slightly smaller in diameter then the 40 S & W. Because this there might be a slight difference in the lip spacing. This could cause jambs with flat nose H-P ammo. 0 -

Might work. I can use Glock .40 cal mags when I drop in my 9mm barrel. They work fine for me. 0
