Would like any info on the surplus item in the following pictures: WWII machinegun barrel cover? Thanks

37.5 inches long. Black stamped lettering"Cover,spare barrel M8"

How big is it??? Size please. Looks more like a canvas tool bag such as a measuring pole cover, or even an old fishing pole bag. Any imprints or lettering???

They had both 30+50cals along with the 37mm.

I would like to list this on the auction side but not sure what a fair starting bid would be. Other than .01, any ideas?
