Winchester experts

I need a winchester researcher to tell me when #2626865 in Model 1300 was made. It is 12 guage, 28 inches, has winchokes, has checkering on the stock and forearm, and is chambered for 2 3/4 and 3" shells. Thanks

    If you are speaking of pre 64 model 70s, I have not heard of any problems in th 50 plus years I've been shooting and collecting them.
    I have several pre 64 model 70 Feather Weights, and have had no problems.
    If you are talking newer model 70s, I have no idea.

    Bert is exactly right about the Remington 700s, I've seen more than one of them go off when the bolt was closed. Brings a whole new meaning to mussel control.

    Also, they had a problem with the Rem 600 and early XP 100s.
