Ted Williams Model 200
Can anyone tell me who made the guns for Sears? I think they were made by Winchester, but not sure. Was it a clone of the Model 12? The sears number was 273.515250.

That is not a serial number. It is the model number. Rifles and shotguns made before 1968 were not required to have a serial number. 273. was the code for Winchesters. As said, a 1200. 0 -

..My Ted Williams (Sears) Mod 200 has a number ahead of the loading port. It's P131177. I always assumed it was the serial #. The barrel is marked 2732160. It's the original barrel, as I got it new, sometime between '68 and '70.
..A side note...Win. stocks won't fit it, as the rear of the reciever is a straight line, where the Win. has a shallow "V" shape.0
