FFL diposition log errors

If your log correctly shows the maker and serial number, how serious is it if you got the caliber or gauge wrong?

I assume this sort of error would never come to light unless the firearm was being traced.

  I would draw one line through it (not erase or "white out"), date & initial it, and enter the correct caliber.

  It all depends on the ATFE agent that does your audit!! Some are looking for any error, while others appear to have never picked up a handgun or rifle.

  They're not "agents" they are GS 5 CLERKS.
  
  They have no arrest powers nor do they carry guns.
