Winchester, Model 94AE - large loop lever 30-30

do these models have firing pin issues? i tried shooting today and 2 out of 8 rounds did not fire.....ammo was good stuff, as far as i know. Seems like the hammer release was weak sounding...any adjustments?

  Clean the bolt.

  Are you holding the lever fully shut? What did the primers look like on the duds vs the ones that fired? Could be a weak hammer spring.
